Family Pic - Christmas 2006

Had to put this here - so I could get it in the picture spot on the left side of the blog page! Should have a newer one soon.

Noah's Birthday Invitation

Noah asked for a soccer party for his birthday this year - YAY! Something easy! heehee - Okay, okay, so last year the Pirate Party was MY IDEA - who could resist that Ahoy Matey Set & the matching Matey's Map Jumbo Wheel? Obviously not me! This fun invitation uses all retired Stampin' up! sets and embellishments. Yellow is currently his favorite color - and he chose the blue as the complementing color. I love the tone-on-tone on the Summer Sun. It breaks up the brightness just enough, while adding a fun "Party" background image perfect for this occasion. Stamp Sets: All Year Cheer and Sporting Goods, Party Wheel. CS: Brilliant Blue, Summer Sun & Whisper White. Ink: Summer Sun & Brilliant Blue. Access: Crimper, 1/8" Hand Punch, Crafters Tool Kit Star Eyelets.

YOU DID IT!

This adorable BBQ Apron was done by Sylvia M. as an invitation to her workshop this month. She used Aida Cloth Background Stamp and the now retired Brushstroke Alphabet Stamp Set. Cardstock used: whisper white, basic black, rose red. Ink: real red. Accessories: black gingham ribbon and rich regals buttons. I LOVE everyone's creativity! And then there's the Goodies! Wonderful ideas for using up scraps - especially of the most lovely double-sided designer papers. There's a placecard, a napkin ring and the goodie bag itself is also stamped. Thanks - Sylvia!
