I am co-hosting an Open House this weekend (2/27/10) with my s-i-l who is a PartyLite rep. This is my free make-n-take for all who attend.
Sale-abration (SAB) is still in full swing - so if you haven't taken advantage of it, or still have SAB FREE sets you want - contact me or place your order online via My SU Website.
This card showcases 3 different stamp sets - first is the super versatile "Circle Circus". The other two stamp sets are both available as FREE SAB sets - in the oval punch is "Whimsical Words" (available in NEW! Clear Mount or traditional wood mount) and the background sentiment, stamped tone-on-tone, is from "Thank You Kindly" - one of the MANY catalog sets currently available as a choice as a FREE SAB set.
The colors are current are three of the six current In Colors - Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo & Crushed Curry. And are used with a technique called 'One Sheet Wonder' - where you stamp an entire piece of 8 1/2" x 11" card stock, collage style - then you cut it apart in different pieces to use on a variety of designs (like THIS) - or to reproduce the same design like the one shown above.
Accessories here include the Oval and Scallop Oval Punches - popped up on Dimensionals and Melon Mambo Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon. ENJOY!

Upsy Daisy - Lattice Card 3 of 3
This is design 3 of 3 from the February Sale-abration THO Workshop mentioned HERE.
This design uses the pieces that fall out of the Lattice die cut, laid out in a pattern to create a lovely border. I also created a positive/negative look for this design, by heat embossing the focal image and sentiment in Winter White on Not Quite Navy, while the border is pieced together in the opposite color combination. The In Color Dusty Durango is lovely with the Not Quite Navy.
The last thing to mention about all these three Lattice Bigz Die designs, is that we made three different shapes of cards! Did you notice that? I like mixing up how a card opens (side or top or special fold), as well as the shape of the cards. Stampin' Up! offers envelopes in these different shapes - so why not take advantage of them and challenge yourself outside of your card shape comfort zone? Now is a great time to re-stock all your basic supplies - card stock, envelopes (try new sizes!), embellishments, adhesive - and get a FREE SAB stamp set to play with too!
Order ANYTIME on My Website or by contacting me directly. Be your own HOs, and earn even more FREE product with a minimum order of $150. ENJOY!

Close as a Memory - Lattice Card 2 of 3
This is design 2 of 3 for the February Sale-abration THO Workshop mentioned HERE. On this design, we used the negative from the Lattice Bigz Die cut out. We also used the SU! Perfect Details Texturz Plate on the Old Olive layer. And..OMGOSH, if you haven't tried the Satin Ribbons in the Occasions Mini Catalog yet...YOU NEED TO! They are simply luxurious!!
For the focal image, we used Stampin' Write Markers direct to the stamp to achieve the multi-colored image.
Colors used: Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive & Whisper White.
Love making square cards - as it gives a slightly larger 'canvas' to work with. ENJOY!

Bella Bleu Lattice Card - 1 of 3
Here is the first of three designs we did at Judi M.'s Sale-abration (SAB) Workshop this month. (Yes! you read it correctly - one of three designs made at a workshop - because I do only THO or Totally Hands On workshops!)
My theme for this workshop was the Lattice Bigz Die - used in the big Shot (but also fits in the Cuttlebug!) My theme challenge was to use most of the pieces of ONE Lattice die cut.
This design showcases the beautiful Lattice die cut, as well as the SAB stamp set - Whimsical Words ( one of the many FREE choices of SAB stamp sets with every $50 ordered!!) It also showcases one of the several designs in the gorgeous Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper. Embellishments include the Large and Scalloped Oval Punches, and Kraft Taffeta & 5/8" Very Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbons.
Colors used: Not Quite Navy, Kraft & Very Vanilla. ENJOY!
