This is design 3 of 3 from the February Sale-abration THO Workshop mentioned HERE.This design uses the pieces that fall out of the Lattice die cut, laid out in a pattern to create a lovely border. I also created a positive/negative look for this design, by heat embossing the focal image and sentiment in Winter White on Not Quite Navy, while the border is pieced together in the opposite color combination. The In Color Dusty Durango is lovely with the Not Quite Navy.
The last thing to mention about all these three Lattice Bigz Die designs, is that we made three different shapes of cards! Did you notice that? I like mixing up how a card opens (side or top or special fold), as well as the shape of the cards. Stampin' Up! offers envelopes in these different shapes - so why not take advantage of them and challenge yourself outside of your card shape comfort zone?
