Thoughts & Prayers Card

Here is design 3 of 4 from the THO (totally hands on) workshop this past weekend. The featured SU! stamp set here is "Thoughts and Prayers", along with the simply gorgeous "Bella Bleu" Designer Series Paper (DSP).

What do you think of the DSP vase? It's the Ornament Punch currently in the Holiday Mini Catalog! So if you thought the Ornament Punch would only be useful at Christmas - now you can go ahead and order it because it makes the cutest vases! :) The Designer Label Punch is also used to make a 'window' for the sentiment. A few Not Quite Navy Brads and some strips of Kraft Taffeta Ribbon finish off this lovely Not Quite Navy, Bordering Blue, Very Vanilla & Kraft color combination. ENJOY!

Birthday Punch

I am afraid the pun humor of my husband's family has completely rubbed off on me AND I'm am okay with that! lol (Did you get the post title? that's what I'm talking about - giggle).

This fourth and final design from Alice S.' workshop last week was inspired by the sample shown on page 8 of the Occasions Mini 2009 for the NEW Oval All Stamp Set and Scallop Oval Punch! The Oval All Set not only goes perfectly with the Scallop Oval Punch, but also the Large Oval Punch. I changed it up a bit by making it open at the side, and adding in the Star Punches and adding a subtle tone on tone Happy Birthday background to the Pacific Point base layer.

Card Stock: Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss, Summer Sun & Whisper White
Ink: Pacific Point
Accessories: Punches: Scallop Edge and Oval, Large and Wide Ovals, 3/4", 1", 1 1/4" & 1 3/8" Circles, Star & Large Star; Tangerine Tango Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and Dimensionals.

YOU Did It! - Punched Penguins Card

I received this VERY FUN card from Beth H. at Christmas. Too darn cute Beth! Thanks!!

Beth used Basic Black, Whisper White, Only Orange, Kraft and Soft Sky(retired) card stock. Punches used: 3/4" Circle, Small & Large Oval and the Spring Bouquet (retired) Punches.

This is a wonderful example of the versatility of the SU! punches - thanks again Beth.
