Ahoy Matey!

This is my son's birthday party invitation this Summer. The Idea Book & Catalog is an INVALUABLE tool for project designs/layouts. I copied the layout directly from the catalog, only changing the colors. The inside (not shown) was Confetti White, printed on my computer, and stamped & watercolored with more images from the stamp set. If you don't have a copy of the IB&C - call me TODAY and see how you can get it for FREE!

Card Stock: Ballet Blue, Real Red, Sahara Sand, Basic Black & Confetti White. Crafters Tool Kit and gold eyelets, Mini Glue Dots, Paper Snips and Watercolor Wonder Crayons with Aquapainter. Inks used: Basic Black & Ballet Blue.

And here's the Thank You I stamped and then attached a Polaroid picture of the First mate Birthday Boy wiht each of his guests. The boys took home their thank you's in their treasure hunt treat bags (which were lunch bags rolled with the coordinating jumbo wheel, of course!)

Hey Cowgirl!

This card is a birth announcement made with the Cowboy Kid stamp set. To make the girl - use the Basic black Stampin' Write Marker to ink up the stamp, omitting the moustache. The image is then colored in with Stampin' Write Markers in Pretty in Pink, Barely Banana and Creamy Caramel. Hair is srawn on using the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. Card stock is Creamy Caramel, Pretty in Pink and Confetti White. "Howdy" was stamped in Creamy Caramel. 1/8" hand punch, Natural Hemp and Crafters Tool Kit & (retired) star eyelets. Also used - the Write Me a Memory CD for the announcement wording inside.

New Idea Book & Catalog Premiere!

The 2006/2007 Idea Book and Catalog is HERE! I am hosting a New Catty Premiere at my home on July 17th beginning at 6:30pm. Here are just two of the projects attendees will be creating....

The project on the left is a Squash or Explosion Box. This one is made from the Petal Patch Double Sided Designer Paper (only available in the Summer Mini until the end of August) and CErtianly Celery card stock. It also uses SU! Square and Circle Punches, Stampin' Write Marker in Brilliant Blue, White Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots. Stamp Set used is Expressive Flexible Phrases. Inks used are Certainly Celery and Brilliant Blue. The strip pattern you see under the middle picture is what the outside of the box looks like when closed up, and with the lid(top of photo) holding it closed. SU! Double-Sided Paper is AWESOME!

The project on the right is a new size/shape of card because SU! has this shape in two sizes of envelopes now! Way Cool! This project uses Lavendar Lace, Elegant Eggplant, Always Artichoke and Whisper White card stocks. It also uses the 1/8" Hand Punch, White Narrow Organdy Ribbon, Dazzling diamonds Glitter, Two-Way Glue Pen & Watercolor Pencils with Blender Pen. Stamp Sets used include: The Wheel Thing (available through end of August), Baskets of Kindness (NEW Host Only Set), Curvy Verses, and Linen Background Stamp. Inks used are Always Artichoke and Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink and Whisper White Craft Ink. Techniques - watercoloring, tearing and glitter.

YOU Did It!

This beautiful covered cigar box was given to me by Sylvia M. Sylvia used the Spring Showers Double-Sided Designer Paper, Apricot Grosgrain Ribbon, Spring Bouquet Flower Punch, Gold Narrow Organdy Ribbon & the Vintage Keepsakes Simply Scrappin' Kit (retired 2006) - as well as some fun non-SU! embellishments .
